A Hawk's Thoughts

I wrote this while imagining myself as a Hawk

I sit perched
perfectly balanced
still
but not idle
I’m patient

in tune with every single weight shift
how you move
that’s how you gon say shit
you know…
every moment we shape shift

the atoms are always in flux
so is everyone that we love
and so are the powers above.

as the worlds needs
so the Flow adjusts
always changing
to help the world keep up

if we trust

we can release the weight
let go of the tension the world makes
realize the world is not opaque
it can reveal the truth

but must get past the fool who judges you
open up to the fool who nudges you
to add some time for joy in the budget too
