Our ego poisons our perspectives. We constantly worry about ideas that don’t add to our happiness.
Pride prevents progress. We aren’t willing to show respect to others because we don’t have respect for ourselves. If you truly respect and know yourself, then your decisions won’t solely seek to protect your pride and ego. If we maintain a wider perspective, rather than only centering ourselves, we’ll make decisions that preserve a positive universal flow. We can take more positive actions if we aren’t unduly swayed by the immediacy of emotions.
