You are not empty. To write like this, with this skill and all-encompassing understanding of the universe, you are not alone. Where does the eye of the storm exist? Inside of you. As I heard Tina Turner say in a video this week, when she gets overwhelmed or confused she sits quietly and chants Buddhist chants, and somehow clarity appears and a calm ensues. Not her words, but how I interpreted her words. My baby brother who died at 31 was very into the Buddhist space. His widow didn't keep any of it and it's here with me. I had that closeness with him and understood what it did for him.
Thanks for reading and for the kind words. This piece thinks about how younger people aren't given the chance to express themselves. There's a stifling aspect to our society and children bear the brunt of serious dysfunction. I understand that I understand very little 😂 but thankful for what truth I have discovered works for me.

I’m currently working on a book of poetry. I had lost focus somewhat over the last week or so, getting ahead of myself and thinking about a book of philosophy, but this was the reminder I needed to take it one step at a time haha So thank you very much. You’ll definitely be one of the first people who gets a copy. I don’t know how I’m going to do it yet, but I just need to focus on the manuscript first and worry about the rest later. As long as the words flow, the rest is all gravy baby lmaoo
If you have not done this already, start collecting email addresses of folks who want to be included in that email announcement when your book will (inevitably) be published. That way you have a built-in audience ready to buy your work, and publishing companies love to see that. It takes time to create that kind of list, so start now. Put me on it.
I see what happened. I got sidetracked by a series of essays on society's generational cycles of competition between old and new, between parents and children. A competition maybe as old as society itself, born from the egotistical desire to control, which is just fear disguised as purpose. I wrote quite a bit on and around that general topic lol
