That, what one writes leads to understandings the author didn’t notice or intend. For example your piece is attached to an item about the tragedy of racism. My mind goes to our daughter (remains there with all things), forever27, “Validate me Mum!” What? Does that mean?

I don’t understand? Silence. If it means accepting (self destructive impulse to restrict refuelling and over exercise), I can’t agree that I support that (misunderstanding, thinking behaviors are always a choice). Illness is not a decision. Don’t believe mere words if the evidence contradicts what they say.

People are gagged, prevented from betraying their disordered thoughts, “Don’t say. Make them guess! See? They don’t care about you, not like I do,” thoughts from the predatory disease.

Being well and not ill is not a decision one can make, and reassuring or puzzling WORDS are weak indicators if, stop your ears, the evidence is different than the story.

Thank you for reading and responding 💜

I really appreciate it and your thoughtful reply. It's always interesting what ideas and thoughts words on a page can conjure within us... Our personal journeys provide ample opportunity for learning and growth with the proper mindset.

Yours seemed right, Words are weak, but all we’ve got.

The expression, “Read between the lines.”And, a personal interpretation of any written thing, as where words take us. Humans need to dismiss the words and seek for meaning, to avoid catastrophic outcomes, based on mere words. Words say MORE than you may think (misunderstandings), and LESS than we allow—“I’m fine,” needs interpreting, “Tell me more?” Would have saved us, in the hundreds.

An ill person must think, “See me. Say something. Stop me. I can’t.” Too rare, a person that sees and then acts upon what they see, instead of asking a victim. Action a feeling. Don’t take vulnerable person’s word-for-it, face value makes fools of us all. “But she said …” Prickly people need us the most. People need people. A penguin walks away from huddle, they die; redirect, towards embrace of community, they survive. Talk therapy only works if goal is to support doing the hard things.
